“A typical London East End Pub”, By George Hancock. |
|
Quintessentially British, the George pub is a rare step back in time. Its traditional oak-paneled walls and crafted ceiling is one of the finest reproduction ‘Tudorbethan’ interiors in London (and one of the crowning glories of its original architect, Colonel RW Edis).
Take it all in with a pint of course, and some good, high-quality comfort food. Offering beers, cider, wines and spirits, George is a great friend to have in the City of London, whether for informal drinks or as a resting spot when visiting, living or working around the bustling markets of Brick Lane and Spitalfields.
Cheers.
